From Sets to Support: What This Nomination Means to Me

It’s not every day you find yourself in the same conversation as the city’s top creatives.
But here we are—and I just want to take a moment to say thank you.

Being nominated for Best Filmmaker in the Austin Chronicle’s Best of 2023 awards isn’t just an industry nod. It’s personal. It’s local. It’s meaningful in a way that goes beyond red carpets and IMDb credits.
Because while I’ve been blessed to have projects that crossed into the Hollywood system…The real credit, the one that hits different, is this.
📍Being voted on by the people who’ve seen the work up close.📍By the clients who trusted me with their story.📍By friends who’ve watched this thing grow from a dream to a full creative business model.📍By family who’s seen the grind behind the visuals.📍And by supporters who don’t just watch the work, they feel it.
That’s the part that humbles me. In a world where everything’s about algorithms and spotlights, it’s powerful to be nominated because people saw real work—and showed love.
Over the years, NVISION FILMS has evolved into more than a production company. It’s a brand built on the idea that stories still matter. That strategy and cinema can live together. That content can connect and convert.
And now, thanks to your votes, we’re standing shoulder to shoulder with some of the most talented directors in Austin.
Whether you’re a client, collaborator, fan, or family—I see you, and I’m grateful.

🗳️ If you haven’t yet, nominations are open for 2025, and I would love your help to get us back on that finalist panel. This time let's take one home for Austin! :👉 Vote NVISION FILMS LLC in the Filmmaker category.
Let’s keep building. Let’s keep creating. And let’s bring this one home together.
With gratitude, - Eric
