What we collect when you visit this site, what we deliberately do not, and how to have your information removed.
NVision Films is a video production company based in Austin, Texas. This policy covers nvisionfilms.com and ineedfilming.com, which we operate together, along with the assistant and booking tools running on them.
We count pageviews using our own first-party counter. It records the page address, the website that referred you (the domain only, never the full link), and a random identifier that lives only for that browser tab and disappears when you close it.
It does not record your IP address, does not set cookies, does not store your browser or device details, and does not follow you to other websites. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, the counter does not run at all.
If you use the chat assistant, your messages and our replies are stored so that a conversation makes sense and so we can see what people are actually asking us. Your browser also keeps your recent messages locally so the conversation is still there if you reload the page. Clearing your browser data removes that local copy.
Please do not send sensitive personal information through the chat. It is a sales assistant, not a secure channel.
If you book a call, submit a form or ask us to follow up, we keep the details you give us. That typically means your name, email address, phone number, what you are looking for, and which page or campaign you arrived from.
We use this to answer you and to run our own business. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with data brokers or advertising networks.
Running the site means some information passes through other companies. These are the ones that can see any part of it, and why:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. That is the only other circumstance.
Pageview counts are kept in aggregate and are not tied to a person. Chat conversations and enquiry details are kept for as long as we might reasonably still be talking to you about work, and are removed on request. Anything we are required to keep for tax or accounting reasons, we keep for as long as the law requires.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights over your information. We will honour those requests regardless of where you are, so just ask.
This site is intended for people doing business with us. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. We do film minors, including student athletes, as part of our work. That is handled through signed agreements with a parent, guardian or school before any filming, not through this website.
Information is transmitted over encrypted connections and held with the providers listed above. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If something ever goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.
If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date below.
